“Conversations with Trudy” is a weekly live online program that addresses various social issues, health and mental issues and more.

We aim to break stigmas, offer perspective on taboo subjects, and provide a safe space for open dialogue for participants and viewers.

The program has covered topics such as the COVID vaccine, rape culture, Jamaican student athletes, COVID-19’s impact on the arts, racial profiling and police brutality, lupus awareness, mental health awareness, sickle cell awareness, breast cancer awareness, natural remedies for COVID-19 patients, and more.

The host of the program is Trudy Knockless, a freelance writer, editor and author. The program is done via Zoom every Wednesday at 8pm (EST), 7pm (Jamaica time), 1am Thur. (UK).  It is also streamed live on Facebook and re-aired on Newstalk 93 FM in Jamaica and Karibbean Vibes Radio in New York.

Trudy poses pertinent open-ended questions to guests who will respond to these questions to the best of their knowledge and ability.  Questions are usually sent to guests prior to the show for review and guests can indicate questions they’d prefer not to be asked and/or submit points they would like to discuss so questions can be geared toward those points/issues.
